EBP Supply Solutions, a leading provider of Cleaning and Food Service supplies and services to commercial institutions, is currently seeking an experienced, conscientious, detail oriented and enthusiastic Night Shift Warehouse Manager to join our team in the Tewksbury, MA. The primary function of the Night Warehouse Manager is to plan, prepare and direct the night warehouse work functions in the selection and loading of customer orders to be delivered the next working day by our Private Fleet, common carrier or UPS small parcel delivery service

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 


  • Insure all orders are selected and loaded for next day delivery
      • Insure orders are selected correctly
      • Insure truck loading is coordinated with truck schedule and out of service vehicles
      • Insure all outgoing pallets are loaded properly
  • Insure that the shift obtains good productivity and minimizes overtime
      • Schedule shift activities depending upon available staffing and workload volume
      • Conduct shift start and end checklist duties nightly
      • Prepare nightly and weekly reports
  • Insure that the shift achieves high quality, accomplishes its housekeeping duties, works safely and minimizes injuries
      • Assure high profile accounts are verified for accuracy, all cases are in good condition and pallets are stacked according to customer critical requirements
      • Insure scratch control is maintained to achieve high order fill
      • Quality check specific customer deliveries as required
      • Review all previous day error(s) with the individual responsible for error
      • Conduct daily / weekly meetings with shift to provide updates on shift performance statistics
  • Maintain proper security within and outside the facility so as to provide a safe and secure warehouse
    • Assist in internal inventory control and security of company assets
    • Train new employees in procedures, expectations and department mission
  • Insure all Human Resource policies and procedures are followed
    • Insure employees exhibit teamwork and co-operation
    • Interview and hire new employees
    • Maintain discipline program as required
    • Review company policies for all employee compliance
  • Keep the Director of Operations and Human Resources informed as needed for any areas where help or resources are needed
    • As this position is typically the entry point for all warehouse workers it is imperative that all workers are trained before starting work on the following policies, Emergency Evacuation, Industrial Power Truck Training, Hazcom and Lock out / Tag out and other departmental rules

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:


  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum 10+ year Warehouse experience
  • Minimum 5+ years Supervisory experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as Fork Lifts, Order Pickers, Tow Motors, Riding Electric Pallet Jacks, hand trucks, box cutters, tape dispensers, and manual pallet jacks.
