Jim Peduto | Biography

Jim is a highly sought industry expert who specializes in quality assurance, work loading, benchmarking, process improvement, and staffing.

In addition to experience as a labor law attorney, Jim’s career includes senior leadership roles in the facility maintenance industry. After successfully running a sanitary supply distributorship, he founded Matrix Integrated Facility Management and grew it into a cleaning firm with over 2,200 employees.

 

 

He has been a partner in the American Institute for Cleaning Sciences (AICS) since 2005, where he has worked with marquee clients such as the United States Naval Academy, Pentagon, Waldorf-Astoria, FBI Headquarters, California Lottery, the US Army.

Jim was instrumental in the development of the CIMS/CIMS-GB cleaning management standard and is one of the cleaning industry’s leading authorities on the use of standards to drive service improvements.

Dave Frank | Biography

Dave is the president of the American Institute for Cleaning Sciences (AICS), an independent third-party accreditation organization that establishes standards to improve the professional performance of the cleaning industry.

With more than 37 years of experience, David is the leading authority in the industry, serving facility service providers, distributors and manufacturers. He is an active member and frequent speaker for ISSA, APPA, EPA and the U.S. Green Building Council.

 

 

David has served on many industry committees to develop standards for healthy building designs, environmental sustainability and quality management systems. He has designed educational programs to promote occupational development and best practices for the foremost companies in the cleaning industry.

The American Institute for Cleaning Sciences and ISSA administered the first Cleaning Industry Management Standards (CIMS) and certification program offered for all levels of the cleaning industry.
